The Clinic is one of the most popular programmes on RTE 1. It has graced our screens for 7 years but sadly RTE announced that they want to cancel the series. This is one of the best home-grown programmes around with characters we love, drama and comedy. It is well-written, entertaining and it would be a shame to see it go. In addition the last series ended on a cliffhanger so if it is not possible to return with a full season at least RTE could have a special one-off like Pure Mule to satisfy the fans.
