the economy and the public finances, with severe effects impacting almost all members of society. The Governor of the Central Bank Dr Patrick Honohan, in December 2009 called for a public inquiry into the crisis. Fine Gael and Labour have already supported this call. We call on the the government to establish this inquiry as a matter of priority.
